Join us for Regularly Scheduled Group Rides
We have started the Canyon Lake Bicycle Club to encourage cycling amoungst all Canyon Lake residents & guests of all interests and ability levels. We do a medium paced road ride, approximately 30 miles, once a week on Saturday or Sunday. Call the shop to verify which for this week, all are welcome! We also encourage anyone to join us for mountain bike rides at the Madrone trail, as well as many other trails convenient to our area. First & Third Saturday Rides
Ride from CLBS to Wimberley via John Knox Ranch Road, break in Wimberley to have a snack and check out the scene. Return via the Old Fischer Store Road and Mail Route Road. The ride will leave CLBS at 8:30a.m. to avoid the heat. The round trip is 35 miles, mostly shaded backroads with little traffic. CLBS has rental road bikes if you want to join, but do not have your own. Come join us!
2nd Monday of each month: Let's explore somewhere new!
Anyone who can join us on to check out new trails is welcome. We leave pretty early in the morning~around 6:30a.m. or so. Call the shop if you want to go. 830.935.4588.
Mountain Bike Tours:
$25 per person min of 4
• 2 hours on the Hancock Trail
• Includes mountain bike rental
• Option of 8am or 6:30pm wildlife and ecology tour
Wimblery tour:
$20 per person min of 4 without bike, rental bike available
• 3-4 hours
• 32 miles of backroads that wind down past the Blanco River and scenic views
• Stop at Wimblery Pie Co. for treats and a break
Fawn Crest Winery Tour:
$35 per person min of 4 without bike, rentals available
• 3 days notice any day available
• 3-4 hours
• Beautiful 28 miles of Hill Country riding round trip
• Enjoy a wine tasting and great views of the vineyard and the lake
• Includes one bottle of wine for each rider
Hancock and Madrone trail
• With in a mile of the resort
• Hiking and biking trails
• Wildlife viewing
• Great places for swimming on hot days

Unsure about the area? Come ask our knowledgeable staff about different routes to take...which ones are more bike-friendly than others...and also rides of differing distances and difficulty levels. If you would like to ship your personal bike for a tour please call and let us know. We can put it
together and have it running in top shape for your tour of the Hill Country. Also remember we also offer group discounts.
